Coaches: please check with your parents to see if any players have a medical condition that you should be aware of such as: asthma, allergies (food, bee stings), etc.
Per league rules, all players are to play a minimum of 50% of the game (reference league rules for exceptions).
Games will be played in the rain unless cancelled by the host team and/or referee. Typically games will only be cancelled due to lightning or potential damage to the field.
The home team is responsible for paying the referee. Checks will be issued to all head coaches prior to the start of the season. Checks should be enough to cover your home game referee costs. At the end of the season, if you are owed money, please complete a “Check Request Form” and submit it to our Treasurer – Casey Irving.
SI Soccer Board is asking all coaches to talk to their parents about required conduct during games. Parents are to not: yell at players or referees. Parents are to view game from sidelines. Parents are not allowed behind goals (or at the end of the field). Regardless of how long your team has been together, please remind your parents of these requirements. Also, RCYSL is considering having another “Silent Saturday”
Coaches are responsible for their players during practice and games. Do not leave the site until all players are picked up by their parent or guardian.
Please leave the fields clean when you leave. Make sure all water bottles, trash, etc. is removed from the field.
